
Caleb Kennedy will become a Forester at Huntington University at the start of the 2008-09 season. Kennedy was an outstanding player at Eastern Hancock High School (2A) as a junior and senior, averaging a double double both seasons. In 2007-08, Caleb averaged 21.0 points and 14.8 rebounds a game; in 2006-07, he averaged 16.3 points and 10.1 rebounds a game.
Kennedy’s rebounding average ranked #2 in the entire IHSAA in 2007-08; his scoring average ranked #23 in the IHSAA and was #4 in the Indy Metro area. Kennedy led the Royals to a 15-9 record and a Sectional Title in the 2007-08 season, joining the Sweet Sixteen of Indiana 2A Basketball. In their Regional game, Kennedy scored 32 points (57% of his team’s total) and pulled in 15 rebounds. He shot 55.1% from the field as a senior.
