2008 Indiana Mr. Basketball, Tyler Zeller, is out for the year after falling from a dunk yesterday. Zeller is a 2008 graduate from Washington, Indiana (home of the Hatchet House). He was injured going up for a dunk in the final minute of the UNC vs. Kentucky stomping. The Southport Cardinals have named, assistant boys basketball coach, Mark Eccles head coach for the upcoming year. Eccles is replacing Jason Delaney, who resigned last week, after being suspended for four weeks without pay because of inappropriate behavior. Interestingly enough, Megan West (Southport assistant principal) was also suspended. She will be demoted to a teaching position because of her involvement in the incident.
